अतीतानागतं वेत्ति विना लिंगैर्भवानिह । तस्मात्कुरु प्रसादं मे यथा स्याद्ब्राह्मणः सुतः । क्षत्रियस्य तु पुत्रस्य भवान्नार्हः कथंचन
atītānāgataṃ vetti vinā liṃgairbhavāniha | tasmātkuru prasādaṃ me yathā syādbrāhmaṇaḥ sutaḥ | kṣatriyasya tu putrasya bhavānnārhaḥ kathaṃcana
Di sini engkau mengetahui yang lampau dan yang akan datang walau tanpa tanda lahiriah. Maka limpahkanlah rahmat kepadaku, agar anak lelakiku menjadi seorang brāhmaṇa. Namun engkau sama sekali tidak layak dikaitkan dengan seorang putera kṣatriya.
