Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 22
त्वदीयं पातकं चास्य शरीरेऽद्य व्यवस्थितम् । एकाकिना यतो दत्तं तेनायं पतितः स्थितः
tvadīyaṃ pātakaṃ cāsya śarīre'dya vyavasthitam | ekākinā yato dattaṃ tenāyaṃ patitaḥ sthitaḥ
Dosamu pada hari ini turut melekat pada tubuhnya; kerana hal itu dilakukan olehmu seorang diri, maka dia tetap berada dalam keadaan jatuh (patita).
