Transliteration

puraścaraṇakṛtyāyāṃ saptamyāṃ divasādhipa | upavāsaṃ kariṣyāmi adya tvaṃ śaraṇaṃ mama

Translation

Wahai Penguasa Hari (Surya), pada Saptamī yang ditetapkan bagi upacara Puraścaraṇa ini, aku akan berpuasa; pada hari ini Engkaulah tempat perlindunganku.
