सूत उवाच । सप्तविंशतिलिंगानि यानि संति द्विजोत्तमाः । तेषां मध्येऽभवत्सिद्धिरेकस्मिन्निखिला द्विजाः
sūta uvāca | saptaviṃśatiliṃgāni yāni saṃti dvijottamāḥ | teṣāṃ madhye'bhavatsiddhirekasminnikhilā dvijāḥ
Sūta berkata: Wahai yang terbaik antara kaum dwija, terdapat dua puluh tujuh liṅga. Dalam kalangan itu, kesempurnaan siddhi yang menyeluruh dicapai melalui satu sahaja, wahai para brāhmaṇa.
