तस्य मोक्षस्त्वया देयो मद्वाक्यात्सुरसत्तम । तथेत्युक्त्वा महेशस्तं शूलाग्रात्प्रमुमोच ह । अस्थिशेषं कृशांगं च चामुण्डासदृशं द्विजाः
tasya mokṣastvayā deyo madvākyātsurasattama | tathetyuktvā maheśastaṃ śūlāgrātpramumoca ha | asthiśeṣaṃ kṛśāṃgaṃ ca cāmuṇḍāsadṛśaṃ dvijāḥ
“Kurniakanlah mokṣa kepadanya, wahai yang terbaik antara para dewa—demi kata-kataku.” Setelah demikian dipohonkan, Maheśa menjawab, “Demikianlah,” lalu melepaskannya dari hujung trisula. Wahai para dvija, yang tinggal hanyalah sisa tulang dan tubuh yang kurus kering, menyerupai sosok Cāmuṇḍā.
