अन्धकोऽपि हरं दृष्ट्वा युद्धार्थं संमुखो ययौ । ततो युद्धं समभवदंधकस्य हरेण तु । वृत्रवासवयोः पूर्वं यथा युद्धमभून्महत्
andhako'pi haraṃ dṛṣṭvā yuddhārthaṃ saṃmukho yayau | tato yuddhaṃ samabhavadaṃdhakasya hareṇa tu | vṛtravāsavayoḥ pūrvaṃ yathā yuddhamabhūnmahat
Andhaka juga, tatkala melihat Hara (Śiva), mara terus menghadap-Nya untuk berperang. Lalu tercetuslah peperangan besar antara Andhaka dan Hara, laksana pertempuran dahsyat dahulu antara Vṛtra dan Vāsava (Indra).
