मुनिरुवाच । बंधनं जगतः किंचिद्वेधसाऽन्यदपश्यता । स्त्रीरूपेण ततः कोपि पाशोऽयं स्त्रीमयः कृतः
muniruvāca | baṃdhanaṃ jagataḥ kiṃcidvedhasā'nyadapaśyatā | strīrūpeṇa tataḥ kopi pāśo'yaṃ strīmayaḥ kṛtaḥ
Sang resi berkata: “Sang Pencipta (Brahmā), kerana tidak melihat ikatan lain bagi dunia, lalu membentuk jerat ini dalam rupa wanita—suatu gelung yang terjalin daripada pesona dan khayal.”
