Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 24

कन्याराशिगते सूर्ये संप्राप्ते पंचमीदिने । येऽत्र स्नानं करिष्यंति श्रद्धया सहिता नराः

kanyārāśigate sūrye saṃprāpte paṃcamīdine | ye'tra snānaṃ kariṣyaṃti śraddhayā sahitā narāḥ

Apabila Matahari memasuki Kanyā-rāśi (Virgo) dan tibanya hari lunar kelima (pañcamī), para lelaki yang mandi di sini dengan penuh śraddhā akan memperoleh buah suci yang dijanjikan oleh tempat ini.
