Narrator (reporting the brāhmaṇas’ questions)
Scene: A circle of sages/seekers questioning a narrator about a wondrous departure and return, with Brahmā (Padmayoni) envisioned in the background as the source of many conversations; palm-leaf manuscripts and a tīrtha landscape suggested behind them.
Purāṇic teaching values careful recounting of sacred experiences, so that listeners may discern dharma and divine order.
The questions arise within the Gartā-tīrtha-centered chapter, linking extraordinary events back to the tīrtha’s sanctity.
None; the verse frames a request for testimony about divine encounters and journeys.
