ऋषय ऊचुः । यद्येवं चौर तद्गत्वा त्वं पृच्छस्व कुटुम्बकम् । ममपापांशभागी त्वं किं भविष्यसि किं न वा
ṛṣaya ūcuḥ | yadyevaṃ caura tadgatvā tvaṃ pṛcchasva kuṭumbakam | mamapāpāṃśabhāgī tvaṃ kiṃ bhaviṣyasi kiṃ na vā
Para resi berkata: “Jika demikian, wahai pencuri, pergilah dan tanyakan keluargamu sendiri. Jika engkau harus menanggung sebahagian daripada dosaku, apakah yang akan terjadi padamu—adakah engkau menerimanya atau tidak?”
