रेवत्युवाच । अहं शप्ता पुरा देवि ब्राह्मण्या कारणांतरे । यत्त्वं मानुषमासाद्य स्वयं भूत्वा च मानुषी
revatyuvāca | ahaṃ śaptā purā devi brāhmaṇyā kāraṇāṃtare | yattvaṃ mānuṣamāsādya svayaṃ bhūtvā ca mānuṣī
Revatī berkata: “Wahai Dewi, dahulu aku pernah disumpah oleh seorang wanita brāhmaṇa kerana suatu sebab yang lain: bahawa engkau akan mencapai keadaan manusia, dan sendiri menjadi manusia.”
