जपैर्होमोपवासैश्च नियमैश्च पृथग्विधैः । बलिपूजोपहारैश्च स्नानदानादिभिस्तथा

Mereka melaksanakannya dengan japa (zikir/mantra), homa (persembahan api), upavāsa (puasa), serta pelbagai niyama (disiplin rohani); dengan bali, pūjā dan upahāra (persembahan, pemujaan dan sajian); dan juga dengan snāna (mandi suci), dāna (sedekah) dan amalan-amalan lain—demikianlah mereka menunaikan laku mereka.
