उपस्थितोऽसौ त्वथ लज्जमानस्तुष्टाव देवं वृषभध्वजं तम् । नत्वा पुरःस्थाग्निमयं हि कालः सविस्मयो वाक्यमिदं बभाषे
upasthito'sau tvatha lajjamānastuṣṭāva devaṃ vṛṣabhadhvajaṃ tam | natvā puraḥsthāgnimayaṃ hi kālaḥ savismayo vākyamidaṃ babhāṣe
Kemudian dia mendekat dengan rasa malu, lalu memuji Dewa yang berpanji lembu itu. Setelah bersujud kepada Kāla yang berdiri di hadapannya dalam wujud berapi, dia pun dengan penuh takjub mengucapkan kata-kata ini.
