वासुदेवोऽपि कार्याणि सर्वाण्यूर्ध्वमकारयत् । इति वो वर्णितोत्पत्तिर्बर्बरीकस्य वाडवाः । स्तवं चास्य प्रवक्ष्यामि येन तुष्यति यक्षराट्
vāsudevo'pi kāryāṇi sarvāṇyūrdhvamakārayat | iti vo varṇitotpattirbarbarīkasya vāḍavāḥ | stavaṃ cāsya pravakṣyāmi yena tuṣyati yakṣarāṭ
Vāsudeva juga, sesudah itu, menyuruh dilaksanakan segala urusan yang perlu. Demikianlah, wahai keturunan Vaḍavā, telah aku jelaskan asal-usul Barbarīka kepada kamu. Kini akan aku lafazkan pula himpunan pujian baginda, yang dengannya Raja Yakṣa berkenan.
