परिक्रम्य शनैर्जह्याल्लोहपिंडं ततः क्षितौ । विपत्रहस्तं तं पश्चात्कारयेद्व्रीहिमर्दनम्
parikramya śanairjahyāllohapiṃḍaṃ tataḥ kṣitau | vipatrahastaṃ taṃ paścātkārayedvrīhimardanam
Setelah mengelilingi perlahan-lahan, hendaklah dia melemparkan ketulan besi itu ke tanah. Sesudah itu, dengan tangan yang telah bebas daripada daun, hendaklah dia disuruh melumat (atau menggosok) butir-butir beras.
