एतेन श्रुतिशास्त्राणि पुराणं च वृतैव किम् । अग्रे सप्तर्षिपूर्वा ये ब्राह्मणाः क्षत्रिया भवन्
etena śrutiśāstrāṇi purāṇaṃ ca vṛtaiva kim | agre saptarṣipūrvā ye brāhmaṇāḥ kṣatriyā bhavan
Jika demikian, apakah perlunya lagi Veda, kitab-kitab śāstra, bahkan Purāṇa? Pada zaman dahulu, para Brahmana yang didahului oleh Tujuh Ṛṣi telah menjadi Kṣatriya menurut peranan (fungsi) mereka.
