क्रोधपंके मदग्राहे लोभबुद्बदसंकटे । मानगंभीरपाताले सत्त्वयानविभूषिते

krodhapaṃke madagrāhe lobhabudbadasaṃkaṭe | mānagaṃbhīrapātāle sattvayānavibhūṣite

Dalam lumpur kemarahan, di tengah buaya kemabukan; dalam pusaran berbahaya buih-buih ketamakan; dan di alam bawah yang dalam bernama kesombongan—samudera saṃsāra ini menggerunkan, walau dihiasi dengan “kenderaan” sattva (kebaikan yang tampak).
