पूज्यते स महादेवः स धर्मः पर उच्यते । दुःखावर्ते तमोघोरे धर्माधर्मजले तथा

pūjyate sa mahādevaḥ sa dharmaḥ para ucyate | duḥkhāvarte tamoghore dharmādharmajale tathā

Mahādeva itulah yang wajib dipuja—itulah Dharma tertinggi yang dinyatakan. Dalam pusaran duka, dalam gelap yang mengerikan, dan dalam arus air dharma serta adharma yang menghanyutkan makhluk, hanya Dia jua tempat berlindung.
