Skanda (deduced: Kāśīkhaṇḍa context, typically Skanda instructing Agastya)
Tirtha: Mahālakṣmī-tīrtha
Type: kund
Listener: Sages
Scene: A symbolic montage: the devotee at the tīrtha, then scenes of future births in different lands where prosperity follows; behind, ancestors appear luminous and well-adorned, blessed by the tīrtha’s power.
Tīrtha-merit is not merely personal; it follows the soul across births and benefits one’s lineage and ancestors.
The tīrtha being praised in this passage (contextually the Mahālakṣmī-related tīrtha sequence in Kāśī).
No new rite is added here; it states the enduring फल (result) of the prior snāna and dāna performed at the tīrtha.
