heraṃbākhyaḥ sadāgneyyāṃ pūjyo muṃḍavināyakāt | aṃbāvatpūrayetkāmānsarveṣāṃ kāśivāsinām
Di tenggara, di Muṇḍavināyaka, Vināyaka bernama Heramba sentiasa patut dipuja. Seperti Ibu yang penyayang, semoga Baginda menunaikan hajat semua penghuni Kāśī.
Skanda
Tirtha: Muṇḍavināyaka (Heramba)
Type: temple
Scene: In a south-east shrine lit by lamps, Heramba Vināyaka is worshipped at Muṇḍavināyaka; devotees—especially Kāśī residents—offer durvā and sweets. Heramba’s expression is tender, ‘like a mother,’ as he grants boons.
Devotional worship of Heramba in Kāśī is praised as both protective and nurturing, granting rightful desires like a mother’s grace.
Muṇḍavināyaka, linked with Heramba in the south-east quarter of Kāśī.
The verse explicitly says he is ‘to be worshipped’ (pūjyaḥ), implying pūjā at Muṇḍavināyaka for fulfillment of wishes.
