ऋषय ऊचुः । पाराशर्य मुने मान्यस्त्वमस्माकं महामते । यतो वेदास्त्वया व्यस्ताः पुराणान्यपि वेत्ति यत्
ṛṣaya ūcuḥ | pārāśarya mune mānyastvamasmākaṃ mahāmate | yato vedāstvayā vyastāḥ purāṇānyapi vetti yat
Para resi berkata: Wahai Pārāśarya, wahai muni yang mulia, wahai yang berfikiran agung—engkau dihormati di antara kami; kerana engkaulah yang menyusun dan membahagikan Veda, dan engkau juga mengetahui Purāṇa-Purāṇa.
