अवश्यं जन्मिनो मृत्युर्यत्र कुत्र भविष्यति । कर्मानुसारिणी लभ्या गतिः पश्चाच्छुभाशुभा
avaśyaṃ janmino mṛtyuryatra kutra bhaviṣyati | karmānusāriṇī labhyā gatiḥ paścācchubhāśubhā
Bagi yang dilahirkan, kematian pasti akan terjadi—di mana-mana jua. Sesudah itu, seseorang memperoleh haluan nasib (gati) yang mengikuti karma, sama ada baik atau buruk.
