Skanda Purana — Kashi Khanda, Shloka 49
तदा तन्वंतरेणापि करिष्ये तव दासताम् । ततो भवः पुनः प्राह को वा वारयितुं प्रभुः
tadā tanvaṃtareṇāpi kariṣye tava dāsatām | tato bhavaḥ punaḥ prāha ko vā vārayituṃ prabhuḥ
“Maka, walaupun dalam tubuh yang lain, aku akan tetap melakukan pengabdian sebagai hamba-Mu.” Lalu Bhava (Śiva) bersabda lagi: “Maka siapakah, sesungguhnya, yang berkuasa untuk menahan (yang telah bertekad)?”
