ityākarṇya maheśānastasyā devyāḥ subhāṣitam | kathayāmāsa rvidhyāre mahāliṃgāni sattama

Translation

Setelah mendengar kata-kata indah sang Dewi itu, Maheśāna pun mulai menghuraikan—wahai yang terbaik antara orang berbudi—tentang mahā-liṅga menurut tertibnya.
