Skanda Purana — Kashi Khanda, Shloka 58

तदभ्यर्च्याः सुवासिन्यो भूषणाच्छादनाशनैः । भूतिकामैर्नरैर्नित्यं सत्कारेषूत्सवेषु च

tadabhyarcyāḥ suvāsinyo bhūṣaṇācchādanāśanaiḥ | bhūtikāmairnarairnityaṃ satkāreṣūtsaveṣu ca

Maka hendaklah para suvāsinī (wanita bersuami) sentiasa dimuliakan dengan perhiasan, pakaian dan makanan. Lelaki yang menginginkan kemakmuran wajib melakukannya, terutama ketika menyantuni tetamu dan pada waktu perayaan yang suci.
