Transliteration

brahmaśāpa vinirdagdhānsarvānrājarṣisattamaḥ | mahatā tapasā bhūmimānināya trivartmagām

Translation

Demi semua yang hangus oleh sumpahan Brahmā, rājarsi yang paling utama itu, dengan tapa yang besar, menurunkan Gaṅgā—yang mengalir melalui tiga jalan—ke bumi.
