आधिपत्यकमलातिचंचला प्राप्यतां च यदिहार्जितं किल । निश्चलं सदसदुच्चकैर्हितं कार्यमार्यचरितैः सदैव तत्

Transliteration

ādhipatyakamalāticaṃcalā prāpyatāṃ ca yadihārjitaṃ kila | niścalaṃ sadasaduccakairhitaṃ kāryamāryacaritaiḥ sadaiva tat

Translation

Kedaulatan—laksana Lakṣmī di atas teratai—amatlah tidak tetap, walau diperoleh di dunia ini dengan usaha sendiri. Maka orang mulia hendaklah sentiasa membina yang teguh dan benar-benar bermanfaat: kelakuan mulia yang tetap kukuh di tengah tinggi-rendah, baik-buruk.
