Skanda Purana — Brahma Khanda, Shloka 15

आरुह्य ऋक्षो वृक्षं तं ददर्श जगतीपतिम् । वृक्षस्थितं महात्मानं महाबलपराक्रमम्

āruhya ṛkṣo vṛkṣaṃ taṃ dadarśa jagatīpatim | vṛkṣasthitaṃ mahātmānaṃ mahābalaparākramam

Setelah memanjat pokok itu, beruang pun melihat Penguasa bumi—raja yang berhati agung—berdiri di atas pokok, agung dalam kekuatan dan keberanian.
