Viṣṇu (implied, as Viṣṇucakra is central in the passage)
Tirtha: Cakratīrtha (contextual)
Type: tirtha
Listener: Brāhmaṇa (dvija)
Scene: A deity (implied Viṣṇu/Divine guardian presence) declares perpetual residence at a coastal tīrtha; a brāhmaṇa/sage listens beside a sacred tank, with the sea and Setu horizon in the distance.
Divine presence at a tīrtha is upheld as an active force for protecting the world and uplifting devotees.
The passage context points to Dharmapuṣkariṇī/Cakratīrtha in the Setukhaṇḍa sacred geography.
No direct ritual is prescribed here; it establishes the doctrine of the deity’s continuous presence at the site.
