युधिष्ठिर उवाच । कस्मिन्वंशे समुत्पन्ना ब्राह्मणा वेदपारगाः । स्थापिताः सपरीवाराः पुत्रपौत्रसमावृताः । शिष्यैश्च बहुभिर्युक्ता अग्निहोत्रपरायणाः । तेषां स्थानानि नामानि यथावच्च वदस्व मे
yudhiṣṭhira uvāca | kasminvaṃśe samutpannā brāhmaṇā vedapāragāḥ | sthāpitāḥ saparīvārāḥ putrapautrasamāvṛtāḥ | śiṣyaiśca bahubhiryuktā agnihotraparāyaṇāḥ | teṣāṃ sthānāni nāmāni yathāvacca vadasva me
Yudhiṣṭhira berkata: “Para Brāhmaṇa yang telah menyeberang ke seberang Veda itu—yang ditempatkan di sini bersama seisi keluarga, dikelilingi anak dan cucu, disertai ramai murid, serta tekun pada upacara Agnihotra—mereka lahir daripada keturunan yang mana?
