सूत उवाच । पतिव्रता गृहे यस्य सफलं तस्य जीवनम् । यस्यांगच्छायया तुल्या यत्कथा पुण्यकारिणी
sūta uvāca | pativratā gṛhe yasya saphalaṃ tasya jīvanam | yasyāṃgacchāyayā tulyā yatkathā puṇyakāriṇī
Sūta berkata: “Sesiapa yang di rumahnya bersemayam seorang pativratā—hidupnya menjadi sempurna. Kehadirannya bagaikan naungan pelindung, dan penceritaan kisahnya menjadi sebab memperoleh puṇya (pahala kebajikan).”
