Transliteration

caitraśuklapratipadaḥ paṃcamīdinapaṃcake | rāvaṇo yudhyamāno 'bhūtpracuro rakṣasāṃ vadhaḥ

Translation

Dari Pratipadā paruh terang bulan Caitra hingga rentang lima hari yang berakhir pada Pañcamī, tatkala Rāvaṇa terus bertempur, berlakulah pembunuhan besar terhadap kaum Rākṣasa.
