युद्धं कृत्वा ततश्चोभौ परस्परवधैषिणौ । परशुं जघ्निवान्देव ललाटे परमे शुभम्
yuddhaṃ kṛtvā tataścobhau parasparavadhaiṣiṇau | paraśuṃ jaghnivāndeva lalāṭe parame śubham
Sesudah bertempur, kedua-duanya saling menginginkan kekalahan lawan. Sang Dewa pun menghayun kapak dan menghentak dahi—akibatnya dahsyat, namun tetap paling suci dan bertuah.
