दह्यमानं पुरं दृष्ट्वा प्रणष्टा द्विजसत्तमाः । यथागतं प्रजग्मुस्ते धर्मारण्यनिवासिनः
dahyamānaṃ puraṃ dṛṣṭvā praṇaṣṭā dvijasattamāḥ | yathāgataṃ prajagmuste dharmāraṇyanivāsinaḥ
Melihat kota itu sedang terbakar, para brāhmaṇa terunggul pun melarikan diri. Penduduk Dharmāraṇya juga berangkat pergi, kembali melalui jalan yang sama seperti ketika mereka datang.
