यम उवाच । एकदा ब्रह्मलोकेऽहं नमस्कर्तुं पितामहम् । गतवानस्मि तं देशं कार्याकार्यविचारणे

Transliteration

yama uvāca | ekadā brahmaloke'haṃ namaskartuṃ pitāmaham | gatavānasmi taṃ deśaṃ kāryākāryavicāraṇe

Translation

Yama berkata: “Pada suatu ketika, di Brahmaloka aku pergi untuk menunduk hormat kepada Pitāmaha, Brahmā. Untuk menimbang apa yang patut dan tidak patut dilakukan, aku mendatangi alam itu.”
