शिखोपवीतमजिनं मौजीं दंडं कमंडलुम् । ब्रह्मचर्योचितं चिह्नं विहायेमां दशां गतः
śikhopavītamajinaṃ maujīṃ daṃḍaṃ kamaṃḍalum | brahmacaryocitaṃ cihnaṃ vihāyemāṃ daśāṃ gataḥ
Dengan meninggalkan śikhā dan upavīta (benang suci), kulit rusa, tali pinggang muñja, tongkat dan kamaṇḍalu—tanda yang layak bagi brahmacarya—dia telah jatuh ke keadaan ini.
