Type: kshetra
Listener: A king (outer frame) and ‘Kaunteya’ (inner addressed figure within quoted teaching)
Scene: A teacher-voice addresses ‘Kaunteya’ with a luminous assertion of oneness; in the background, Badarikāśrama appears—snow peaks, badarī trees, ascetic twins Nara-Nārāyaṇa establishing the hermitage.
Realization of inner oneness (aikātmya) is upheld as the heart of spiritual understanding, harmonized with devotion.
Badarikāśrama (Badaryāśrama), attributed to the sanctifying foundation by Nara-Nārāyaṇa.
No ritual is specified; the verse prescribes contemplative realization of oneness.
