Tirtha: Suradurlabha Saṅgama (as titled in-verse)
Type: sangam
Listener: Nṛpa (King)
Scene: Pilgrims at a confluence smear or cover themselves with clean earth near the bank, then step into the meeting waters with folded hands; devas are faintly suggested in the sky to indicate ‘suradurlabha’.
Approach sacred places with humility and disciplined purity; inner reverence is expressed through outer ritual care.
A ‘suradurlabha’ saṅgama-tīrtha within the Revā Khaṇḍa—i.e., a revered confluence associated with the Narmadā sacred landscape.
Before bathing at the confluence, one should cover oneself with earth/clay and then enter the saṅgama for snāna.
