गतः पितामहं सोमो वेपमानोऽमृतांशुमान् । पद्मयोने नमस्तुभ्यं वेदगर्भ नमोऽस्तु ते । शरणं त्वां प्रसन्नोऽस्मि पाहि मां कमलासन
gataḥ pitāmahaṃ somo vepamāno'mṛtāṃśumān | padmayone namastubhyaṃ vedagarbha namo'stu te | śaraṇaṃ tvāṃ prasanno'smi pāhi māṃ kamalāsana
Soma yang sinarnya laksana amṛta pergi dengan gementar menghadap Pitāmaha Brahmā. “Wahai Padma-yoni, sembah sujud kepadamu; wahai Veda-garbha, sembah sujud kepadamu. Aku berlindung pada-Mu—berkenanlah melindungiku, wahai Kamalāsana.”
