मद्भर्ता विषमे स्थाने शकुन्तमृगजातिषु । यदि प्रेषयसे तात कंचित्त्वं नर्मदातटे
madbhartā viṣame sthāne śakuntamṛgajātiṣu | yadi preṣayase tāta kaṃcittvaṃ narmadātaṭe
Suamiku berada dalam keadaan yang amat getir, dalam kelahiran sebagai burung dan binatang. Wahai ayahanda yang dikasihi, jika ayahanda mengutus seseorang, utuslah ke tebing Sungai Narmadā.
