कन्योवाच । इच्छेयं यत्र काले हि तत्र देया त्वया पितुः । पुत्रीवाक्यादसौ राजा विस्मितो वाक्यमब्रवीत्
kanyovāca | iccheyaṃ yatra kāle hi tatra deyā tvayā pituḥ | putrīvākyādasau rājā vismito vākyamabravīt
Gadis itu berkata: “Wahai ayah, pada waktu yang aku pilih, pada saat itulah engkau harus menyerahkanku untuk perkahwinan.” Mendengar kata-kata puterinya, raja terhairan lalu menjawab.
