क्रुद्धैर्देवसमूहैश्च दानवा निहता रणे । तेषां शिरांसि संगृह्य सर्वे देवाः सवासवाः
kruddhairdevasamūhaiśca dānavā nihatā raṇe | teṣāṃ śirāṃsi saṃgṛhya sarve devāḥ savāsavāḥ
Dalam peperangan, para Dānava ditewaskan oleh kumpulan para dewa yang murka. Setelah mengumpulkan kepala-kepala mereka, semua dewa bersama Vāsava (Indra) pun (melakukan seperti berikut).
