स्नेहात्ते कथयिष्यामि वार्द्धकेनातिपीडितः । शृण्वन्तु ऋषयः सर्वे तपोनिष्ठा महौजसः
snehātte kathayiṣyāmi vārddhakenātipīḍitaḥ | śṛṇvantu ṛṣayaḥ sarve taponiṣṭhā mahaujasaḥ
Kerana kasih sayang kepadamu, walaupun sangat dihimpit derita usia tua, aku akan menuturkan kisah ini. Hendaklah semua resi—teguh dalam tapa dan besar wibawa rohaninya—mendengar.
