भित्त्वा शैलं च विपुलं प्रयात्येवं महार्णवम् । भ्रामयन्ती दिशः सर्वा रवेण महता पुरा
bhittvā śailaṃ ca vipulaṃ prayātyevaṃ mahārṇavam | bhrāmayantī diśaḥ sarvā raveṇa mahatā purā
Setelah membelah gunung yang luas, demikianlah baginda mara menuju samudera agung; dan pada zaman dahulu, dengan deru yang perkasa baginda menggemakan serta menggoncang segala penjuru.
