Skanda Purana — Avanti Khanda, Shloka 4

तस्य राज्ये सदा धर्मो नाधर्मो विद्यते क्वचित् । वेदधर्मरतो नित्यं प्रजा धर्मेण पालयन्

tasya rājye sadā dharmo nādharmo vidyate kvacit | vedadharmarato nityaṃ prajā dharmeṇa pālayan

Dalam kerajaannya, dharma sentiasa berkuasa; adharma tidak wujud di mana-mana. Sentiasa berpegang pada dharma Veda, baginda melindungi rakyat dengan dharma.
