अन्धक उवाच । यदि तुष्टोऽसि देवेश यदि देयो वरो मम । तदात्मसदृशोऽहं ते कर्तव्यो नापरो वरः
andhaka uvāca | yadi tuṣṭo'si deveśa yadi deyo varo mama | tadātmasadṛśo'haṃ te kartavyo nāparo varaḥ
Andhaka berkata: “Wahai Dewa segala dewa! Jika Engkau berkenan dan hendak mengurniakan anugerah kepadaku, maka jadikanlah aku seumpama dengan hakikat-Mu sendiri; tiada anugerah lain yang kupohon.”
