Skanda Purana — Avanti Khanda, Shloka 44
रथं देवमयं कृत्वा तमारूढो जगद्गुरुः । निर्ययौ दानवो यत्र कोपाविष्टो महेश्वरः
rathaṃ devamayaṃ kṛtvā tamārūḍho jagadguruḥ | niryayau dānavo yatra kopāviṣṭo maheśvaraḥ
Setelah menjadikan kereta itu bersifat dewa, Guru Alam Semesta pun menaikinya. Lalu Mahēśvara yang diliputi murka berangkat menuju tempat Dānava berada.
