एवमुक्त्वा गता सा तु ब्राह्मणी नृपसत्तम । तथागतः स तु शिशुस्तत्र स्थित्वा मुहूर्तकम्
evamuktvā gatā sā tu brāhmaṇī nṛpasattama | tathāgataḥ sa tu śiśustatra sthitvā muhūrtakam
Setelah berkata demikian, wahai raja yang utama, wanita brāhmaṇī itu pun pergi. Bayi itu, sebagaimana ditinggalkan, tetap berada di situ untuk seketika.
