स च मे भक्तिनिरतो बाणो लोके च विश्रुतः । भारती च मया दत्ता ब्राह्मणानां विशेषतः
sa ca me bhaktinirato bāṇo loke ca viśrutaḥ | bhāratī ca mayā dattā brāhmaṇānāṃ viśeṣataḥ
“Dan Bāṇa itu teguh dalam bhakti kepadaku serta masyhur di dunia. Bahkan akulah yang mengurniakannya Bhāratī—anugerah tutur kata dan kefasihan—terutama dalam hal yang berkaitan dengan para Brāhmaṇa.”
