सा भवेद्रूपसम्पन्ना यथा चैव तिलोत्तमा । षष्ठ्यां तु या मधूकस्य फलदा तु भवेत्सदा
sā bhavedrūpasampannā yathā caiva tilottamā | ṣaṣṭhyāṃ tu yā madhūkasya phaladā tu bhavetsadā
Dia menjadi elok sempurna seperti Tilottamā sendiri. Dan sesiapa yang pada hari Ṣaṣṭhī menghadiahkan buah pokok madhūka, dia sentiasa dikurniai kemakmuran yang berbuah dan berkekalan.
Sūta (Lomaharṣaṇa) to the sages (deduced)
Tirtha: Revā-kṣetra (contextual)
Type: kshetra
Scene: A radiant woman is compared to Tilottamā; alongside, a devotee offers golden madhūka fruits on Ṣaṣṭhī, symbolizing ever-returning prosperity like a fruit-laden tree.
Dāna is portrayed not merely as social virtue but as a spiritual cause of auspicious qualities like beauty and lasting prosperity.
This verse does not name a tīrtha; it continues the Revā Khaṇḍa’s dharma instruction on tithi-based charity.
On Ṣaṣṭhī, donate madhūka fruit (or fruits from the madhūka tree) as charity.
